Differential lock module (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification

2. Remove the rear trim panel.

3. Loosen the parking assistance unit. Remove the 2 nuts.



4. Remove the differential lock assembly.

• Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.
• Remove 3 bolts.

Installation

1. Install the differential lock unit.

• Insert and tighten the bolts (tightening torque 10 Nm).
• Connect and secure the electrical connectors.

2. Install the parking assistance unit. Tighten the nuts. (tightening torque 10 Nm).

3. Install the rear trim panel.

4. Connect the ground cable to the battery. For more information, refer to Specifications

5. Use T4 to calibrate the new locking unit.
