Dismantling


1. Remove the carpet retainer.

CAR INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Fixing pad - front part of the floor carpet.


2. Remove enough of the door frame seal to access the lower pillar trim.


2. Remove enough of the door frame seal to access the lower pillar trim.

3. Release the cover from the two fasteners and remove it by applying horizontal force.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.


4. Check the condition of the fasteners in the body, replace damaged ones.

Assembly


1. Install new fasteners into the body holes to replace the damaged ones.

2. Install the hinge decorative cover and secure it.

3. Install the door frame seal.

4. Install the carpet retainer.
