Upper A-pillar trim (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Dismantling


1. Follow all safety rules when working with passive safety systems.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Safety precautions when working with the airbag system (SRS).


2. Remove the door frame seal.

3. Remove the plug covering the screw.


3. Remove the plug covering the screw.

4. Remove the Torx screw securing the A-pillar trim.

5. Release the 3 fastening clips of the "A" pillar trim and remove the trim.

CAUTION: Since the airbag is located directly behind this trim, extra care must be taken when removing the trim.


6. Remove the clips from the overlay.

Assembly


1. Install the clips onto the trim.

2. Install the cover on the A-pillar, tighten the mounting screw and tighten it to a torque of 2 Nm.

3. Install the screw access plug.

4. Replace the door frame seal.

5. Connect the battery terminals, the positive terminal first.
