Removal
1. Switch the SRS system to safe mode. For more information, refer to the Standard Techniques used at the service station.
2. Remove the lower B-pillar trim panel. For more information, refer to Lower B-Pillar Trim Panel (76.13.29)
3. Disconnect the lower seat belt anchor from the seat.
- Remove the bolt cover.
- Disconnect the electrical connector on the passenger side.
- Remove the Torx bolt.

NOTE: Before removing the upper B-pillar trim panel, make sure the upper seat belt anchor height adjuster is in the lowest position.
Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.
- Remove the front and rear door opening seals for ease of access.
- Release the 2 bottom clamps. then the remaining top clamp.
- Release the seat belt.

Installation
1. Install the B-pillar upper trim panel.
- Secure with clamps.
- Fasten the seat belt.
- Install door opening seals.
- Tighten the Torx head bolt (tightening torque 40 Nm).
- Connect the electrical connector on the passenger side.
- Install the bolt cover.
