Upper B-pillar trim (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Dismantling


1. Follow all safety rules when working with passive safety systems.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Safety precautions when working with the airbag system (SRS).


2. Remove the front seat.

SEATS, REPAIR WORK, Front seat.


3. Remove the door frame seal from the "B" and "C" pillars.

4. Release the 4 fastening clips of the lower trim of the «B» pillar.


4. Release the 4 fastening clips of the lower trim of the "B" pillar.

5. Release the upper trim of the B-pillar and remove the trim assembly.

6. Separate and discard the clips from the trim.

7. Compress the spring clips and separate the upper trim of the B-pillar from the lower one.

Assembly


1. Connect the upper trim of the B-pillar with the lower trim.

2. Install new clips onto the trim panel.

3. Secure the trim assembly to the upper retainers, pass the seat belt through the hole and secure the lower trim to the B-pillar.



4. Install door frame seals.

5. Install the front seat.

SEATS, REPAIR WORK, Front seat.


6. Connect the battery terminals, the positive terminal first.
