Automatic transmission selector cover (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Turn the ignition key to position II, press the brake pedal, move the selector to position "D" and switch off the ignition.



2. Release the clips and separate the selector lever cover from the center console.

3. Carefully disconnect the 4 connector blocks from the selector panel.

4. Remove the selector cover together with the selector lever by pulling it sharply upwards.

5. Release the fasteners securing the selector lever cover to the center console trim, remove the handle together with the cover.

Assembly

1. Position the trim, connect the connector blocks, and secure the trim to the center console.

2. Install the handle on the selector lever.

3. Align the selector lever boot with the center console and secure it with the clips.

4. Turn the ignition key to position II, move the selector lever to position "P" and turn off the ignition.
