Dismantling

1. Remove the carpet retainer.

CAR INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Fixing pad - front part of the floor carpet.

2. Release the 4 fasteners securing the foot support pad to the support frame and remove the pad by turning it clockwise.

3. Remove the screw securing the support frame to the car body.

4. Lift the hood release lever and separate the support frame from the clips. Apply horizontal force, pull the frame back and remove it.

Assembly

1. Install the support frame on the "A" pillar and secure it with clamps.

2. Tighten the screw securing the support frame to the body to a torque of 3 Nm.

3. Install the foot support platform and secure the fasteners.

4. Install the carpet retainer.
