Dismantling
1. Remove the battery.
ENGINE STARTING AND BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM, REPAIR WORK, Battery.
2. Remove the Engine Control Module (ECM).
ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: EDC, REPAIR WORK, Engine Control Unit (ECM).

3. Unscrew the nut securing the mounting box to the bracket.
4. Remove the mounting box from the bracket.
5. Remove the fuse box cover.

6. Unscrew the 3 nuts securing the fuse box and move the box to the side.

7. Loosen the inertia switch bracket mounting bolt and move the switch to the side.

8. Carefully cut the flexible cable tie and move the wire harness aside.

9. Using the LRT-37-051 tool, disconnect and remove the clutch drive pipe.

10. Remove the clutch master cylinder rod from the clutch pedal.
11. Turn the clutch master cylinder clockwise, remove it from the front shield and from the vehicle.
Installation
1. Install the master cylinder onto the front shield and turn it counterclockwise to secure it.
2. Install the master cylinder rod onto the clutch pedal.
3. Wipe the hydraulic connector of the clutch pipe.
4. Connect the clutch hydraulic line.
5. Place the wiring harness back in place and secure it with a new cable tie.
6. Install the inertia switch and tighten the mounting bolt to 8 Nm.
7. Install the fuse box, tighten the nuts and tighten them to 8 Nm.
8. Replace the fuse box cover.
9. Install the mounting box bracket in place and tighten the mounting nuts to 8 Nm.
10. Install the engine control module (ECM).

11. Install the battery.
