Rear floor extension (Range Rover 3)

The rear body floor extension is replaced together with the rear body panel assembly or with the rear section of the side body panel.

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the generator.

3. Remove the spare wheel well heat shield.

Repair works

1. Remove damaged panels, prepare joint edges and install new panels in accordance with the Body Panel Repair Rules. Punch or drill holes in the panel to be installed for the plug weld, as shown in the figure.

Assembly

1. Reinstall the spare wheel well heat shield.

2. Connect the generator.

3. Connect the negative battery terminal.
