Rear part of the rear wheel arch extension (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Raise the rear of the vehicle.

2. Remove the wheel(s).



3. 5-door models: Unscrew the 2 screws securing the extension to the corner of the wheel arch.

4. 5-door models: Remove the wheel arch extension from the 2 studs.

5. 5-door models: Remove the clips from the wheel arch extension.



6. 3-door models: Unscrew the 6 screws securing the extension to the corner of the wheel arch and the lower trim panel.

7. 3-door models: Remove the wheel arch extension from the 8 studs.

8. 3-door models: Remove the clips from the wheel arch extension.

Installation

1. Install the clips on the wheel arch extension.

2. Install the wheel arch extension onto the studs.



3. Tighten the screws securing the extension to the wheel arch.

4. Reinstall the wheel(s) and tighten the nuts to 115 Nm.

5. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
