Dismantling


1. Remove the front glass guide.

2. For vehicles prior to 2004 model year: Disconnect the 2 "Lucar" type electrical connectors from the tweeter and set the front glass guide aside. For vehicles 2004 model year and later: Disconnect the electrical connector from the tweeter and set the front glass guide aside.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mirror.

4. While holding the mirror, remove the 2 Torx screws. For 2004 and later vehicles: Remove one more Torx screw.

6. Remove the outside rearview mirror.

7. Remove the clamping bar.

Installation


1. Install the mirror, apply the clamping bar, tighten the Torx screws to 6 Nm.

2. Connect the electrical connector to the mirror.

3. For 2004 model year vehicles: Connect the electrical connector to the tweeter.

4. Connect the Lucar type electrical connectors to the front glass guide.

5. Install the front glass guide onto the door.
