Removing
1. Remove the intake manifold gasket.
EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND EXHAUST SYSTEM: Td6 engine, REPAIRS, Intake manifold gaskets.
2. Remove 10 screws (type Allen) securing the cover of the electronics box ("E" box). Remove the cover.
3. Disconnect 3 blocks from ECM.
4. Disconnect 2 pads from the automatic transmission control unit.
5. Disconnect the block from the control unit for the operation of the glow plugs.
6. Remove the fuse and relay sockets from the electronics box.
7. Loosen and disconnect the engine wiring harness connector from the right body wiring harness.
8. Disconnect the block from the engine relay.
9. Remove the insulating corrugation of the wiring harness from the electronics box.
10. Disconnect "negative" wire from the right suspension strut support cup.
11. Disconnect the shoe from the boost control valve.
12. Disconnect the shoe from the mass air flow sensor.
13. Disconnect the shoe from the camshaft position sensor.
14. Release the wiring harness of the mass air flow sensor from the tie and clamp.
15. Pull the MAF sensor harness through the vacuum pump tube.
16. Disconnect 6 pads from glow plugs.
17. Turn away 2 nuts of fastening of a plait of electroconducting of the engine to a starter.
18. Disconnect the shoe from the engine hydraulic mount actuator.
19. Disconnect the block from the valve of the exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR), remove the 2 nuts and move the valve aside.
20. Disconnect the block from the fuel low pressure sensor located on the fuel filter.
21. Disconnect the block from the fuel cooler and thermal relay.
22. Release the fuel cooler wiring harness from the clamp.
23. Disconnect the block from the oil temperature sensor.
24. Disconnect the block from the coolant temperature sensor.
25. Disconnect the shoe from the crankshaft position sensor.
26. Disconnect the block from the back of the fuel pump.
27. Turn away 3 bolts and move a branch pipe of system of cooling from a head of the block of cylinders. Destroy the seal.
28. Turn away 2 bolts of fastening of a plait of electroconducting.
29. Place the car on a lift.
30. Disconnect block from a transmission and release a plait of electroconducting from 3 collars.
31. Loosen the bolt and remove the spacer from "P" yoke at the rear of the engine.
32. Release the wiring harness from the 3 mounting clamps on the right side of the engine.
33. Disconnect the wiring harness from the temperature sensor located inside the electronics box and remove the wiring harness.
Installation
1. Fix the wiring harness on the right side of the engine with a clamp.
2. Pull the wiring harness to the rear of the engine, install and secure with a bolt "P" shaped collar. Tightening torque - 10 Nm.
3. Place the car on a lift.
4. Secure the wiring harness to the gearbox with a clamp. Connect the wiring harness.
5. Route the wiring harness along the left side of the engine and secure it with the bolt. Tightening torque - 10 Nm.
6. Clear interfaced surfaces of a branch pipe of system of cooling and establish a sealant.
7. Install the nozzle on the engine and secure it with bolts. Tightening torque - 10 Nm.
8. Pull the wiring harness to the rear of the fuel pump and attach the block.
9. Pull the crankshaft position sensor wiring harness and attach the block.
10. Attach a socket of the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid.
11. Route the oil temperature sensor wiring harness and attach the connector.
12. Install the fuel cooler wiring harness and secure it with a clamp.
13. Connect the block to the fuel cooler and thermal switch.
14. Connect the block to the fuel low pressure sensor.
15. Install the exhaust gas recirculation valve and tighten the nuts with a torque of 10 Nm.
16. Attach the engine hydraulic mount actuator to the mounting bracket.
17. Attach shoe to actuator and valve.
18. Pull the wiring harness to the starter.
19. Install the wiring harness connection to the right side of the starter and secure it with the nut. Tightening torque - 6 Nm.
20. Install the wiring harness connection to the left side of the starter and secure it with the nut. Tightening torque - 10 Nm.
21. Attach blocks to candles of heating.
22. Pull the wiring harness to the mass air flow sensor and attach the block.
23. Place the wiring harness across the engine, install the sealing corrugation into the electronics box.
24. Using plastic clamps, attach the MAF sensor harness to the vacuum tube with a clamp.
25. Attach the shoe to the camshaft position sensor.
26. Pull the wiring harness and connect the block to the charge air pressure control valve.
27. Connect the block to the motor relay located in the electronics box.
28. Install the wiring harness connection to the right side of the starter and secure it with the nut. Tightening torque - 6 Nm.
29. Install the fuse and relay holders on the bracket located in the electronics box.
30. Attach "negative" battery wire to the left suspension mount cup.
31. Attach the wiring block to the glow plug control unit.
32. Connect the block to the transmission ECU.
33. Connect the engine wiring harness connector to the body electrical wiring harness connector.
34. Attach blocks to ECM.
35. Attach the block to the temperature sensor located inside the electronics box.
36. Install the electronics box cover and tighten the hexagon head screws.
37. Install the intake manifold gasket.
