Navigation system computer (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, carefully read the "Disconnecting the Battery" section and follow all instructions therein.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.

Removal


1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

CAUTION: After the ignition has been turned off, wait 2 minutes before disconnecting the battery pack. Failure to do so may result in damage to the navigation system computer.


2. Remove the hatch located in the trunk on the left side.

3. Using the SMD 4091 tool, remove the navigation computer.


3. Using the SMD 4091 tool, remove the navigation computer.

4. Disconnect the coaxial wire.


4. Disconnect the coaxial wire.

5. Release and disconnect the 2 connectors from the navigation computer.

6. Remove the navigation computer.



Installation


1. Install the navigation computer and connect the connector blocks.

2. Connect the coaxial wire.

3. Install the navigation computer into the bracket.

4. Install the hatch back into place.

5. Connect the ground cable of the battery.
