If it is necessary to replace the electronic control unit, then before disconnecting the battery, it is necessary to connect the Testbook / T4 and perform the recommended actions.

Removal


1. Remove the hatch located in the trunk on the left side.

2. Remove the cover of the box located in the trunk on the left side.

3. Lift and secure the spare wheel cover.

4. Remove the Allen head bolts used to secure the luggage securing rings.


4. Remove the Allen head bolts used to secure the luggage securing rings.

5. Unscrew the 2 screws securing the left rear panel of the luggage compartment.

6. Carefully release and remove the panel.

7. Unscrew the lower screw securing the front panel of the luggage compartment.


7. Unscrew the lower screw securing the front panel of the luggage compartment.

8. Remove the rivet securing the left luggage compartment panel to the box.



9. Unscrew the 3 nuts securing the drawer, carefully release and remove the drawer.

10. Disconnect the connector from the TCU.


10. Disconnect the connector from the TCU.

11. Remove the 3 TCU mounting bolts and release the TCU.

12. Loosen the nut and disconnect the coaxial wire.

13. Disconnect the connector and remove the TCU.

Installation


1. Install the TCU and connect the connector.

2. Connect the coaxial cable and secure with a nut.

3. Install the TCU and tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.

4. Attach the connector to the TCU.

5. Install the box and secure it with nuts.

6. Install the front left panel mounting rivet.

7. Install the front left panel mounting screw.

8. Install the rear left panel, align it with the tailgate seal and install the screw fasteners.



9. Install the load retaining rings and tighten the Allen head bolts to 25 Nm.

10. Lower and secure the spare wheel cover.

11. Install the box lid.

12. Install the hatch back into place.
