Dismantling


1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system.

COOLING SYSTEM: V8 engine, ADJUSTMENTS, Draining coolant, flushing the system and filling.


2. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the 3 coolant hoses from the automatic transmission cooler.


2. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the 3 coolant hoses from the automatic transmission cooler.

CAUTION: Always plug the fittings and holes to protect the system from dirt.


3. Remove the Torx screw securing the automatic transmission cooler and remove the cooler.

4. Remove and discard the cooler O-rings.

Assembly


1. Wipe the places where the hoses are connected to the cooler.

2. Install new O-rings onto the cooler.

3. Install the automatic transmission cooler in place and secure with the screw.

4. Connect and secure the cooling system hoses to the automatic transmission cooler.

5. Fill the cooling system with coolant.
