6. Install the LRT-44-033/2 tool onto the end of the seal and connect the LRT-44-033/1 tool to the LRT-44-033/2. Tighten the LRT-44-033/1 and remove the gear selector shaft seal.

Assembly


1. Wipe the selector shaft and the groove for the seal.

2. Using the LRT-44-030/3 tool, install a new seal.


2. Using the LRT-44-030/3 tool, install a new seal.

3. Clean the lock switch and the mating surface of the transmission.

4. Install the lock switch, tighten the 2 switch mounting screws and tighten them to a torque of 10 N·m.

5. Install the lock switch shield, tighten the 2 switch shield mounting screws and tighten them to a torque of 10 N·m.

6. Install the selector lever on the selector shaft, tighten the selector shaft mounting nut and tighten it to a torque of 10 N·m.

7. Connect the negative terminal to the battery.
