Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Dismantling


1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the intake manifold gaskets.

EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND EXHAUST SYSTEM: Td6 engine, REPAIR WORK, Intake manifold gaskets.


3. Disconnect the connectors from the glow plugs.


3. Disconnect the connectors from the glow plugs.

4. Using a high socket head, remove 6 glow plugs.

Assembly


1. Thoroughly wipe the glow plugs and their seats in the cylinder head.

2. Screw in the spark plugs and tighten them to a torque of 20 Nm.

3. Place the connectors on the glow plugs.

4. Install the intake manifold gaskets.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.
