Removal

1. Remove the lower trim of the luggage compartment lid.

2. Remove the trunk lid lock.

3. Disconnect the connector from the electric motor.

4. Release the protective cover of the emergency release cable of the luggage compartment lid and unscrew the Torx bolts. Move the cable to the side and remove the electric motor.

Installation

1. Position the motor so that the lock spindle fits into the hole. Install the cable mounting bolt and secure the motor. Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m.

2. Connect the wiring harness.

3. Install the tailgate lock.
