Assembly

1. Wipe the mating surfaces of the fan and coupling.

2. Place the fan on the viscous coupling and tighten the 4 bolts. Tightening torque 10 Nm.

3. Slide the fan shroud onto the radiator, but do not secure it yet.

4. Install the fan on the pulley and tighten the viscous coupling mounting nut to 45 Nm.

5. Install and secure the fan shroud to the radiator.

6. Secure the fan shroud with the clips.

7. Secure the harness and connector to the casing.

8. Secure the cooling system hose in the clamp.

9. Wipe the EGR valve nipple and the mating part of the intake hose.

10. Using a new clamp, secure the air inlet hose to the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve. The clamp tightening torque is 6 N·m.

11. After waiting 10 minutes, tighten the clamp securing the air hose to the valve again. Tightening torque 6 N·m.

12. Reinstall the upper engine cover.

TD6 ENGINE, REPAIR WORK, Upper engine casing.

13. Replace the lower protective cover.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Engine protection - front.
