Brake/clutch fluid reservoir (Freelander 1)

Checking and restoring the working fluid level

The figure shows the layout with right-hand controls; for vehicles with left-hand controls the layout is similar.

1. Check the brake fluid level in the brake/clutch hydraulic reservoir.

2. Wipe the surface around the tank lid, remove the lid.

3. If necessary, top up the level with the recommended brake fluid.

4. Replace the tank lid.
