Dismantling
1. Remove the HEVAC unit.
HEATING AND VENTILATION, REPAIR WORK, Heater unit/heater, ventilation and air conditioning (HEVAC) control unit - removal for easier access and installation.
2. Release the air distributor assembly and move it to the side.
3. Release the three fasteners and remove the heater fan shroud.
4. Remove the 3 Torx screws securing the fan to the heater.
5. Disconnect the connector and remove the fan assembly with the electric motor.
Assembly
1. Position the fan assembly with the electric motor on the heater and connect the connector block.
2. Replace and tighten the Torx screws that secure the fan assembly.
3. Install and secure the fan shroud.
4. Install and secure the air distributor assembly.
5. Install the HEVAC unit into the control panel.
