Refrigerant pressure sensor (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Drain the air conditioning system and collect the refrigerant.

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM, AIR CONDITIONER DRAINING, REFRIGERANT RECOVERY AND CHARGING, Air conditioner draining - refrigerant recovery and refilling.

3. Disconnect the connector block from the refrigerant pressure sensor.

CAUTION: Do not disconnect the air conditioner hoses until the system has been completely drained.

4. Remove the refrigerant pressure sensor from the air conditioner pipe branch. To avoid putting stress on the air conditioner pipe, use two wrenches to remove the sensor.

CAUTION: Immediately cap all openings to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the system.

5. Remove and discard the sealing ring.

Assembly

1. Clean the refrigerant pressure sensor and the surrounding surfaces.

2. Install a new sealing ring, install the sensor and tighten it to 10 Nm.

3. Connect the connector to the pressure sensor.

4. Fill the air conditioning system with refrigerant.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.
