Dismantling


1. Remove the air intake hose.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: V8 engine, REPAIR WORK, Hose connecting the air flow sensor to the throttle body.


2. Disconnect the connector from the throttle body.


2. Disconnect the connector from the throttle body.

3. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the throttle pipe to the intake manifold and remove the throttle…


3. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the throttle pipe to the intake manifold and remove the throttle pipe.

4. Discard the 2 throttle body gaskets.

Assembly


1. Wipe the mating surfaces of the throttle body and intake manifold.

2. Install 2 new gaskets on the throttle body.

3. Install the throttle body onto the intake manifold and tighten the 4 bolts. Tightening torque 10 N·m.

4. Connect the connector to the throttle body.

5. Reinstall the air intake hose.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: V8 engine, REPAIR WORK, Hose connecting the air flow sensor to the throttle body.


6. Reconfigure the control system using the TestBook/T4 device.
