Throttle body (Discovery 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the air supply hose from the throttle body.

2. Disconnect the stepper motor connector.

3. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.

4. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the throttle body.



5. Loosen the accelerator cable adjuster nuts.

6. Disconnect the cable from the throttle lever cam.

7. Unscrew the 4 nuts securing the throttle body to the rubber mounts.

8. Remove the throttle body from the studs.

Installation

1. Check the condition of the throttle body supports, replace if necessary.

2. Installation is carried out in reverse order. The tightening torque of the throttle body support nuts is 7 Nm.
