Note: Before adjusting the cable using diagnostic equipment, make sure that the throttle position sensor and stepper motor are in sync. Check that the cable is routed correctly.


1. Turn on the ignition and after 5 seconds turn it off to set the stepper motor to the initial position.

2. Loosen the cable adjustment unit nuts.

3. While holding the throttle cam in the closed position stop by turning the adjusting nut, set a 2 mm gap between the nut and the bracket.

4. Tighten the lock nut until it contacts the bracket.

5. Use two wrenches to tighten both nuts.

6. Press the accelerator pedal and make sure the throttle is fully open.
