Note: Before adjusting the cable using diagnostic equipment, make sure that the throttle position sensor and stepper motor are in sync. Check that the cable is routed correctly.
1. Turn on the ignition and after 5 seconds turn it off to set the stepper motor to the initial position.
2. Loosen the cable adjustment unit nuts.
3. While holding the throttle cam in the closed position stop by turning the adjusting nut, set a 2 mm gap between the nut and the bracket.

4. Tighten the lock nut until it contacts the bracket.
5. Use two wrenches to tighten both nuts.
6. Press the accelerator pedal and make sure the throttle is fully open.
Location of system components
1 - fuel pump in the tank, 2 - fuel filter on the right side of the frame above the rear wheel, 3 - inertia switch on the engine compartment bulkhead, 4 - relay box under the hood, 5 - fuel vapor canister valve, 6 - diagnostic connector on the right fender, 7 - engine control unit on the right fender.
1 - Fuel pressure regulator behind the engine, 2 - Air temperature sensor on the intake manifold, 3 - Crankshaft position sensor on the flywheel housing under the starter, 4 - Ignition coils behind the engine, 5 - Oxygen sensor on the exhaust manifold, 6 - Coolant temperature sensor on the water collection pipe, 7 - Injectors, 8 - Stepper motor (idle speed control valve), 9 - throttle position sensor, 10 - fuel temperature sensor on the fuel manifold, 11 - knock sensor on the engine block.
