Examination
1. Before adjusting the cable, check that it is routed and secured correctly.
Adjustment

1. Unscrew the throttle control cable adjusting nut from the bracket.
2. Keep the damper drive sector in the fully closed position.
3. Tighten the adjusting nut until the slack in the cable is completely removed so that the nut rests against the bracket. The throttle valve should not open.
4. Secure the throttle control cable adjusting nut to the bracket.
5. Press the gas pedal and check that it travels fully.
