Front Oxygen Sensor (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Loosen and disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.



2. Release the oxygen sensor harness from the clamp on the cylinder block.

3. Using a special 22 mm wrench, unscrew the oxygen sensor.

Installation

1. Wipe the heated oxygen sensor (HO ₂ S) housing, sealing washer and mating surfaces.

2. Install the heated oxygen sensor in place and tighten it to 55 Nm.

3. Connect the oxygen sensor connector and secure it to the bracket.
