Oxygen sensor (Discovery 1)

Removal

Caution: The sensor should only be removed when the exhaust system is cold.

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Disconnect the connectors of both sensors.

3. Remove both sensors.

Installation

4. Apply anti-seize compound to the sensor threads.

Caution: Do not allow the compound to come into contact with the measuring part of the sensor.

5. Tighten the sensor to the recommended torque using the LST 134 wrench.

6. Connect the sensor connector and battery.
