Identification of the vapor recovery system (Discovery 1)

Since October 1996, the system for US-supplied vehicles has been labeled EVAP. A system identification plate is riveted to the engine compartment bulkhead.

With the letter A - a new system (VLR1124AYPFE)
With the letter B - the old system (VLR1060AYPBC)
