Mixture composition control (Discovery 1)

To ensure effective neutralization of toxic exhaust components, the vehicle is equipped with a catalytic converter. The neutralizer only works within a fairly narrow range of mixture compositions (fuel/air ratio). The mixture composition is controlled (control unit) according to the feedback circuit based on the signals from the oxygen sensor. For more details see. in sections "Mpi fuel system, SFI".

Please note: petrol must be unleaded only. Information about the type of gasoline used is provided on the fuel tank cap.
