

2. With the parking brake lever fully released, release the parking brake cable adjuster.

3. Raise and support the vehicle.
WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported solely by a jack. Be sure to support the vehicle securely.
4. Remove the rear wheels. Refer to procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
5. Turn the parking brake adjuster to a position where the disc does not turn. Then move the adjuster back 8 clicks.
NOTE: Apply the parking brake lever several times to center the brake shoes.

6. Repeat the above procedure on the other side of the vehicle.
7. Adjust the front parking brake cable to allow the parking brake lever to move between 3 and 9 clicks to securely apply the brakes.

8. Install the coin tray and luggage compartment.
9. Install the rear wheels. Refer to procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
10. If necessary, perform the parking brake shoe bedding procedure. Refer to the procedure: Parking Brake Shoe Bedding (206-05 Parking Brake and Parking Brake Actuator, General Procedures).
