Removing
1. Remove the front wheels.
2. Clean the outside of the calipers.
3. Remove cotter pin from mounting pins.
4. Remove pins of fastening of blocks and a spring.
5. Remove the brake pads.
6. Clean the exposed parts of the pistons with new brake fluid. Wipe off residue with a lint-free cloth.
7. Using the piston clamp LRT-70-500, press each piston into its bore. Make sure that the displaced brake fluid does not leak from the reservoir.
Installation
1. Install the brake pads.
NOTE: Make sure the brake pads are properly installed. The illustration shows how the leading edge chamfer should be set.
2. Establish pins of fastening of blocks and a spring. Secure with new cotter pins.
3. Depress the brake pedal several times to lock the pads into place.
4. Fit wheels, remove landing gear and jack. Tighten wheel nuts (tightening torque 130 Nm).
5. Check up a reservoir of a hydrodrive of brakes. Top up with the correct fluid if necessary.
