Inspection and verification (Freelander 2)

1. Visually inspect the system for integrity and obvious signs of mechanical damage.

Mechanical elements:

• Feed and return pipelines
• Connections to automatic transmission and transmission fluid cooler
• Transmission fluid level

2. If an obvious cause for the problem you have identified or the customer has described is found, correct it (if possible) before proceeding further.

3. If the cause is not visually obvious, clarify the symptom of the malfunction and contact Table of signs of malfunction.
