Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all precautions specified for this procedure have been followed.

Removal


1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2. Remove the pan with the gasket.

TD6 ENGINE, REPAIR WORK, Engine sump gasket.


3. Loosen the oil pickup pipe bracket mounting bolt.


3. Loosen the oil pickup pipe bracket mounting bolt.

4. Unscrew the 2 bolts on the oil pickup pipe flange and remove it. Remove and discard the gasket.

Installation


1. Wipe the oil pickup tube and mating surfaces.

2. Install a new gasket on the oil receiver, install the oil receiver on the oil pump, screw in the bolts and tighten them. Tightening torque 10 N·m.

3. Screw in and tighten the oil receiver bracket mounting bolt. Tightening torque 10 Nm.

4. Install the tray with the gasket.

TD6 ENGINE, REPAIR WORK, Engine sump gasket.


5. Connect the negative cable to the battery.
