Removal the lower part of the oil pan (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Place the vehicle on a lift.

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

3. Drain the oil from the engine.

4. Remove the 21 bolts securing the lower part of the oil pan to the upper part. Remove the lower part of the oil pan and discard the gasket.

Assembly

1. Wipe the mating surfaces on the oil pan.

2. Place a new gasket on the mating surface of the lower pan.

3. Install the lower part of the oil pan.

4. Install the 21 lower pan mounting bolts and tighten them to 10 Nm.

5. Fill the engine with oil.

6. Connect the negative battery terminal.
