Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the connector from the oil pressure sensor.
3. Place a rag under the oil filter housing to protect against spilled oil.

4. Unscrew the oil pressure sensor from the oil filter housing and discard the sealing washer.
Assembly
1. Wipe the mating surfaces on the sensor and on the oil filter housing.
2. Install a new sealing washer onto the oil pressure switch.
3. Screw in the oil pressure sensor and tighten it to 27 Nm.
4. Connect the connector to the oil pressure sensor.
5. Remove the rags.
6. Connect the negative battery terminal.
7. Place the exhaust hose onto the exhaust pipe.
8. Start the engine and let it run until the oil pressure indicator goes out.
9. Check for oil leaks around the pressure sensor.
10. Turn off the engine. Wait a few minutes, check the oil level. Add oil if necessary.
11. Remove the exhaust hose from the exhaust pipe.
