Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the starter.

ENGINE STARTING AND BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM, REPAIR WORK, Starter - Td4 engine.

3. Disconnect the connector from the oil pressure sensor.

4. Lay out a rag to collect any spilled oil.

5. Unscrew the pressure contact sensor and dispose of the sealing washer.

Installation

1. Wipe the threads of the oil pressure sensor.

2. Install a new sealing washer onto the oil pressure switch.

3. Screw in the oil pressure sensor and tighten it. Tightening torque 38 Nm.

4. Connect the connector to the oil pressure sensor.

5. Reinstall the starter.

6. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.

7. Connect the negative battery terminal.
