Dismantling
1. Turn away 8 nuts and remove a final collector. Dispose of gaskets.
2. Using the LRT-12-034 cracker, compress the valve springs, remove the two crackers, release the spring and remove the LRT-12-034 cracker.
3. Take out a valvate spring with a plate.
4. Remove the valve from the cylinder head.
5. Install the cap remover LRT-12-206 on the oil seal, turn to catch the cap and remove the cap remover LRT-12-206 with cap.
6. Do the same on the remaining valves, laying out the removed parts in the order in which they were on the cylinder head.
Installation
1. Wipe the bottom plane of a head of cylinders.
2. Using a straightedge and a feeler gauge, check the deformation of the bottom plane of the head in the directions shown in the figure.
TECHNICAL DATA, Engine - Diesel Td4.
ATTENTION: Milling of the bottom plane of the head is not allowed. If the deformation of the lower plane is higher than permissible, then replace the cylinder head.
3. Clean and check valve seats.
ATTENTION: The chamfers of valves and seats cannot be straightened.
4. Insert the new valve into the guide so that the top of the valve stem is on the cut of the guide sleeve.
5. Install a pointer indicator on the cylinder head and set "zero" indicator, resting its leg on the valve plate. By shaking the valve sideways, determine the degree of wear of the valve guide. If the plate deviation exceeds 0.50 mm, then replace the cylinder head and valves.
CAUTION: The valve guides cannot be replaced.
6. Thoroughly clean the valve seats.
7. Clean the walls of the combustion chamber and exhaust channels.
8. Wipe the valve, spring plate and crackers.
9. Lubricate the valves and valve guides with clean engine oil.
10. Insert valve.
11. Slide protective boot LRT-12-104 over valve stem.
12. Install a new cap and remove the LRT-12-104 boot.
13. Push the cap all the way onto the valve guide by pushing it in with the LRT-12-207 tool.
14. Install valve spring with poppet.
15. Use the LRT-12-034 dryer to compress the valve spring. Install the crackers, release the spring and remove the LRT-12-034 cracker.
16. Do the same for the remaining valves.
17. Wipe the exhaust manifold and mating surface on the cylinder head.
18. Install the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head using new gaskets.
19. Screw nuts of fastening of a final collector and tighten them. Tightening torque 24 Nm.
