Coaxial Wire — Front Antenna — 5 Door Models (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the antenna.

2. Remove the upper trim of the "A" pillar of the body.

3. Remove the sun visor.

NOTE: The coaxial wire cannot be removed as it is part of the body wiring harness.

4. Unscrew the stud securing the front edge of the roof trim.



5. Remove the handrail caps.



6. Disconnect the coaxial cable from the extension cord behind the fuse box.

Installation

1. Install the new coaxial wire to the roof panel.

2. Route the coaxial cable behind the instrument panel and connect it to the extension cord.

3. Secure the coaxial wire to the wiring harness with cable ties.

4. Install the studs and grab handle caps into the headliner.

5. Install the upper trim of the "A" pillar of the body.

6. Install the sun visor.
