Mechanical antenna — 5-door models (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the front light lens.

2. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the front light to the body.

3. Remove the lamp from the roof trim, disconnect the connector and remove the lamp.

4. Unscrew the nut securing the coaxial wire to the antenna base.



5. Separate the antenna base from the roof panel and remove the rubber seal.

Installation

1. Install the rubber seal and antenna base onto the roof panel.

2. Connect the coaxial cable and secure with a nut.

3. Position the front lamp in place and attach the connector.

4. Install and secure the front light into the roof trim using bolts.

5. Install the rear light lens.
