Microswitch — Hardtop Setting Detection — 3-Door (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the hard top and soft top.

ROOF, REPAIR WORK, Frame and awning assembly - removal for access to the repair area and installation in place.

2. Remove the upper decorative trim panel of the rear right side panel.

3. Remove the 2 soft top bracket mounting bolts.

4. Disconnect the microswitch block and remove it from the mount.



5. Remove the microswitch mounting pin and remove the microswitch.

6. Save the microswitch seal.

Installation

1. Install the microswitch seal, position the microswitch and secure it using the pin.

2. Attach the connector block and secure it in the mount.



3. Install the soft top mounting brackets, install the bolts and tighten them to 25 Nm.

4. Install the upper decorative trim of the rear right side panel.

5. Install the hard top roof and soft top roof.
