Dismantling


1. Remove the center console.

CAR INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Center console.


2. Loosen and remove the air box.

3. Release the clamps and disconnect the parking brake drive cables from the compensator.


3. Release the clamps and disconnect the parking brake drive cables from the compensator.

4. Disconnect the drive from the switch.


4. Disconnect the drive from the switch.



5. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the parking brake lever.


5. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the parking brake lever.

6. Remove the parking brake lever.

Assembly


1. Install the parking brake lever on the bracket, screw on the mounting nuts and tighten them to a torque of 21 N·m.

2. Connect the wire to the switch.

3. Connect the parking brake cables to the cable equalizer.

4. Reinstall the air box.

5. Reinstall the center console.

6. Check the operation of the parking brake and adjust if necessary.
