Dismantling


1. Raise the front of the vehicle on one side.

CAUTION: Do not work under a vehicle supported solely by a jack or lift. Always support the vehicle with safety stands.


2. Remove the left front wheel.

3. Open the cover covering the sensor cable connector, release the connector and disconnect the wear sensor connector.

4. Release the sensor cable from the body clips, brake hose and the cap covering the bleed nipple.

5. Disconnect the wear sensor from the brake pad.

6. Remove the wear sensor.

Assembly


1. Install the wear sensor on the brake pad.

2. Fix the wear sensor cable to the bleeder cap retainer, brake hose bracket, retainer and bracket on the car body, then connect the cable connector to the connector and fix the connector. Close the connector cover.



3. Replace the wheel and tighten the nuts to a torque of 140 Nm.

4. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
