Dismantling
1. Raise the rear of the vehicle on one side.
WARNING: Do not work under a vehicle raised only on a jack or lift. Always install safety props.
2. Remove the rear wheel.
3. Turn out 5 screws of fastening of a liner of a wheel arch and remove a liner for access to a socket of a cable of the gauge of wear.
4. Open the connector cover, open the latch and remove the block, then release the wheel speed sensor cable from the suspension strut and trailing arm.
5. Release the cable from the retainer on the shock absorber, remove the Allen screw and remove the wheel speed sensor from the wheel bearing support.
Assembly
1. Clean the surface of the wheel speed sensor, apply an anti-stick lubricant, and install it on the wheel bearing support.
FILLING CAPACITIES, USED OPERATING LIQUIDS, OILS AND SEALANTS, Lubrication system.
2. Install the wheel speed sensor Allen screw and tighten the screw to 8 Nm.
3. Attach the sensor cable to the trailing arm, to the suspension strut, and then attach the connector block. Close the connector cover.
4. Reinstall the wheel arch liner and tighten its fastening screws.
5. Reinstall the wheel and tighten the nuts to 140 Nm.
6. Remove props and lower the car.
7. To ensure that the ABS is working properly, diagnose using the Testbook/T4 diagnostic tool.
