Dismantling
1. Raise the rear of the vehicle.
WARNING: Do not work under a vehicle raised only on a jack or lift. Always install safety props.
2. Remove rear wheels.
3. Remove the brake disc.
BRAKING SYSTEM, REPAIR WORKS, Brake disc -rear brake mechanisms.
4. Remove the upper return spring of the parking brake pads.
5. Rotate the brake shoe retainers 90°and remove the shoe assembly.
6. Remove parking brake pads complete with lower return spring and adjusting ring.
7. Disconnect the lower return spring and adjusting ring from the brake shoes.
8. Remove expander bar.
9. Repeat the operation for the wheel on the other side.
Assembly
1. Clean rear brake mount and brake disc with brake cleaner.
2. Clean the brake expansion bar.
3. Clean adjusting ring, lubricate threads with grease and set minimum shoe spacing.
FILLING CAPACITIES, USED OPERATING LIQUIDS, OILS AND SEALANTS, Lubrication system.
4. Install the spreader bar.
5. Assemble shoes with adjusting ring and lower return spring.
6. Reinstall the shoe assembly, secure the shoe retainers and top return spring.
7. Install the brake disc.
BRAKING SYSTEM, REPAIR WORKS, Brake disc - rear brake mechanisms.
8. Repeat the operation for the wheel on the other side.
9. Reinstall the rear wheels and tighten the nuts to 140 Nm.
10. Adjust the parking brake.

11. Remove props and lower the car.
