Dismantling
1. Remove the rear console.

2. Disconnect the Lucar type electrical connector from the parking brake release switch.
3. Loosen the cable adjustment nut.

4. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the parking brake lever.
5. Disconnect the adjusting rod from the cable equalizer and remove the parking brake lever assembly.
6. Remove the spring from the adjusting rod.
Installation
1. Install the spring on the adjusting rod.
2. Install the parking brake lever assembly, tighten the bolts and tighten them to 22 Nm.
3. Tighten the cable adjustment nut.
4. Connect the Lucar type electrical connector to the parking brake release indicator switch.
5. Adjust the parking brake.

6. Reinstall the rear console.
