Dismantling
1. Models with KV6 engine: Remove the engine soundproof cover.
2. Models with Td4 engine: Remove the air cleaner filter element.
DIESEL ENGINE FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM, REPAIR WORK, Air cleaner filter element.
3. Remove the brake master cylinder.
BRAKE SYSTEM, REPAIR WORK, Dual master brake cylinder - for right-hand drive vehicles.

4. Loosen and disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum booster.
5. Remove and discard the vacuum hose seal.
6. Disconnect the brake lines from the clamps located on the engine compartment bulkhead.

7. Remove the cotter pin and remove the pin connecting the vacuum booster pushrod to the brake pedal.
8. Unscrew the 4 nuts securing the amplifier to the body and remove the amplifier.
9. Remove and discard the sealing gasket.
Installation
1. Install a new sealing gasket onto the amplifier.
2. Install the amplifier on the body, tighten the nuts and tighten them to a torque of 22 Nm.
3. Connect the push rod to the pedal, insert the pin and install a new cotter pin into its hole.
4. Install a new vacuum hose seal.
5. Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum booster.
6. Install the brake master cylinder.
BRAKE SYSTEM, REPAIR WORK, Dual master brake cylinder - for right-hand drive vehicles.
7. Secure the brake lines in the clamps.
8. Models with Td4 engine: Install the air cleaner filter element.

9. Models with KV6 engine: Reinstall the engine soundproofing cover.
