Vacuum booster — for vehicles with KV6 engine (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the engine soundproofing cover.

ENGINE KV6 - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Soundproofing engine casing.

3. Release the vacuum booster from the clamps.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the solenoid valve, if equipped.

5. Loosen and disconnect the vacuum tube.

6. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the vacuum hose from the inlet pipe.

7. Loosen and remove the vacuum booster assembly from the intake manifold.

Installation

1. Install the vacuum booster on the intake manifold.

2. Connect it to the inlet pipe and secure it with a clamp.

3. Connect the vacuum hose.

4. Connect the electrical connector to the solenoid valve, if equipped.

5. Secure the throttle to the clamps.

6. Reinstall the engine soundproofing cover.

7. Connect the negative battery terminal.
