Pressure control solenoid valve (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove the solenoid valve assembly.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - GM 5L40-E, REPAIR WORK, Automatic transmission valve block.

2. Disconnect the connector block from the solenoid.

3. Release and remove the solenoid spring retaining ring.

4. Remove the solenoid from the valve body and discard the O-rings.

Assembly

1. Wipe the mating surfaces of the solenoid and valve.

2. Install new O-rings on the solenoid and lubricate them with automatic transmission fluid.

3. Install the solenoid on the valve body and secure it with the retaining ring.
