Control module — folding mirrors — models up to 02MY (Freelander 1)

CAUTION: If the mirrors have been folded three times in a row, the control of the folding function will be delayed for one minute. This prevents damage to the folding mirror motors.

Dismantling

1. Remove the front console.

INTERIOR TRIM PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Center console - for vehicles up to model year 2004.

2. Loosen the 2 fastening fasteners of the folding mirror control module.

3. Release the control module from the mount and disconnect the connector block.

4. Remove the control module.

Installation

1. Position the control module in the mount and ensure that the tabs are fully engaged.

2. Connect the connector to the control module.

3. Install the center console.
